P-CLASS_11

Les EON de la Promotion 11 étaient divisés en trois sections (contingents) pour suivre les cours théoriques et les cours de pilotages. Ces trois sections formaient une compagnie dirigée par le Lt Hou Mean. Le recrutement s’effectua dès fin 1973. Tous ont suivi cinq mois d’instruction militaire mais une seule section a eu le temps de terminer la formation initiale de pilotage. La deuxième section avait juste commencé. La troisième section n’avait suivi que des cours théoriques.
Ils furent les derniers élèves officiers de l’Armée de l’Air Khmère. Une Armée qui connu sa FIN en Avril 1975 quand Phnom-Penh tomba.

The Class 11 cadets were split into three contingents. They all first received five month of military instruction. Only one contingent finished the flying session. The second contingent just started while the third was still studying at the “ground school”. The three contingents (platoons) formed a company under LT Hou Mean command. The recruitment was done at the end of 1973.
They were the last cadets of the Khmer Air Force that saw an END when Cambodia collapsed in April 1975.
